Pisces at work

Well, It’s got to be glamorous. As you will have gathered by now, Pisceans need some escapism in their lives, especially at work. If a Piscean can’t have the sort of profession that is slightly divorced from reality, they may pretend that their job is more than it’s cracked up to be.

Pisces is a refined sign and a lot of Pisceans work in the beauty business. Many Piscean men are very happy working as sales reps for perfume companies, because they are selling feminine fragrances and sensational smells. The very nature of their business is beauty. Even though they’d make equally excellent salesmen for car firms, they’d hate it, because the product wouldn’t be pretty. More mundanely, Pisceans make good bartenders, as long as they don’t swig the stock! In fact, Pisces is Paris, London, Rome and New York the four cities you see listed on the world’s most expensive perfumes. This is the sign of sophistication and top class stuff, and Pisceans like to live and work in a world far removed from any area that’s slightly slummy!

So, the Piscean will need to work in an enchanting, entrancing environment. Many Pisceans are found in ballet or opera companies, and film sets are full of them. Pisceans who don’t work in nice places will fall apart. But not only does the workplace have to be elegant, the Piscean’s colleagues have to be charming, and the atmosphere serene and tranquil.

Other Pisceans swim in different directions, taking up the professions other Pisceans pass by, such as nursing the ill and the infirm, helping the aged and the ailing, and being social workers.

Jupiterian Pisceans will want to travel the world through their careers, as do Sagittarians, although the Piscean will have more finesse. Other Pisceans may join the Navy. But many Pisceans like to bob about the briny in one capacity or another.

Ambitious Pisceans are very few and far between indeed. They much prefer to be big fish in small ponds and, once they’ve achieved that, they don’t want anything more. But usually, Pisceans are happy to swim along in safe, serene waters. Sometimes when Pisceans are pushed to go along for an interview, they will deliberately set out to fail, because they don’t want the extra responsibility and duty that promotion entails.

Whatever work they do, Pisceans need to be happy. Aquarians like hectic jobs, and other signs thrive on hassle. But Pisceans need soothing surroundings and aesthetic atmospheres, otherwise their finely-tuned sensitive systems get jangled and jarred, and they become very flustered Piscean indeed!
