Leo Man

The Leo man is an Adonis and usually he’s got the personality to prove it! Like the starlet he is, the Leo lad cascades like a fantastic firework, attracting admirers from all around to come and see the show. But he can have more than a suspicion of swank. Big talk can be all too easy for him, especially if he’s carving out a career in a competitive cosmos.

Leos are great show people, and they don’t do things by halves when they can do them by seven eighths. Some Leo men can be down to their last Luncheon Voucher, but will borrow £500 from the bank just to throw a party for their pals. They might want to show off with champagne and caviar, or just be jolly with jelly and jam sandwiches. One of the loveliest things about Leos is their passion for pleasing people. Making people happy makes them feel warm all over, and beats wearing a woolly vest any day.

Usually, the Leo man looks good, with his long, lavish hair constantly combed. You can always tell a Leo lad by his locks. Even if they’re cut quite short, and he looks like a shaving brush on legs, his hair should bear a real resemblance to the most long and lustrous paint brush.

Usually, the Leo man looks good, with his long, lavish hair constantly combed. You can always tell a Leo lad by his locks. Even if they’re cut quite short, and he looks like a shaving brush on legs, his hair should bear a real resemblance to the most long and lustrous paint brush.

Just think of some famous Leo men. Reading from the reasonable to the ridiculous, they include Robert Redford, Mick Jagger. Peter O’Toole, George Bernard Shaw, Mussolini, Fidel Castro and Napoleon none of whom you could say seemed shy! They are all imbued with pounds of power and considerable charisma; even Bert from Bognor, if he was born a Leo, will appear assured and assertive.

Leo lads love doing things in style. This is one of the two signs of love, along with luscious Libra, and he can really sweep you off your pins. He’ll flabbergast you with flowers, provide you with posh nosh, and take you to the theatre and bung you in a box. In fact, he’ll treat the one he loves like a queen.

Dad-wise, he can be brilliant. After all, the Sun represents fatherhood, so he’s got a head start! Kids will mean a lot to him, and he’ll want his own collection of cubs. So it’s no good tying the love knot with a Leo if you never want kids. He may say he’s not bothered at the moment, but just you wait and see!

Leo is one of the Fixed signs, so this man will be loyal and faithful two traits which will be very important to him. The law of the jungle decrees that although Leo has a pride of lionesses he’ll stand by them all till he is surpassed by one of his siblings and the law of a Leo lad is that you must be loyal, and not betray him in any way.

Being part of his own pride will be incredibly important to him. He’ll want to be the breadwinner, fending like fury to feed his family. With his little sunbeams as his satellites, he’ll provide for them and protect them when necessary. But he needs his partner to be loving and loyal.

Now, before you throw this book down and dash out of the door to look for a Leo, wait a minute. It’s a shame to say it, but sometimes this man can be a hypocrite. If he’s the sort of Leo who travels around a lot, he’ll probably have a partner in most places. But that doesn’t mean that what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, so don’t go finding yourself a fellow. Your Leo love sees himself as ruler of his own regal realm, and will want the respect he feels is due to him from his loyal subjects and that means you and the children!

His need for loyalty doesn’t stop there. He’ll expect respect from his colleagues at work, too, and his pals in the pub.

It can be a bit frightening at times, especially if you’re feeling a mite meek and mild.

If used in the wrong way, this superb strength can turn a likeable Leo into a bullying bossy-boots, who’s bursting with bravado, puffed up with pomposity, and swanks, struts and swaggers, till you long to stick your shoe out and trip him up! The Leo man can use you as a puny pawn in his game of imperial chess, or he’ll consider his kith and kin to be a collection of courtiers. If he gets his own way often enough, and is rather negative in the first place, he can turn into a true tyrant, a despot, who will constantly abuse his power. This won’t be in a psychological, Scorpio way, or an argumentative Arian way, but in a very haughty, grand way. There’s definitely a dowager duchess feel about negative Leos, even if they are men!

Because he is a Fixed sign, the Leo lad will want permanence in all the primary parts of his life. This fixity will also give him a degree of stubbornness. He won’t give way easily on things, because he can’t. It’s not in his nature. But if you ever want to get round a Leo man, and make him see things your way, there’s just one thing you have to do. Flatter him. It never fails!
