Capricorn Child
NOW, LETS get one thing straight before we go any further: there’s no such thing as a Capricorn child! But hang on a minute before you have a butchers at the birth certificate. Your Capricorn kid may look five to you, but he or she is much older inside. Actually, if you have a gander at some kids, you’ll find that they can look like pint-sized pensioners. But don’t worry, they get younger as they become older. Your little Capricorn will be much more canny, clever and clear-thinking than you!
It’s an odd thing, but Capricorn kids often have one parent who’s stronger than the other in some way. I don’t necessarily mean that their mum is the strongest woman in the world, while their dad is a seven-stone weakling. Instead, one of their parents may have died, they may be divorced, or the mum’s a missionary in darkest Africa. Grandparents often play a large part in a Capricorn’s early years and may be the ones who bring the kid up. But whatever the reason, it’ll make the kid grow up much earlier than his or her pals and be mature at an early age.
As a result, Capricorns learn to live with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune at an early age and are imbued with responsibility and resourcefulness. Sometimes it means they stick out like sore thumbs at school and find it hard to fit in with kids of their own age. In fact, it’s more than likely for a Capricorn’s best mate to be a couple of years older. As a result, Capricorns learn to live with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune at an early age and are imbued with responsibility and resourcefulness. If your kid hasn’t got any grandparents, see if you can adopt some, fast! Capricorn kids get on great with these folk, because they understand each other, and will have cosy chats together.
You must remember that a Capricorn child has an old head on young shoulders. Your kid won’t want to play all the time, and may prefer to mooch round a maths book, or go for a walk. But that doesn’t mean these children are boring, because they’re not, especially if you encourage their straight-faced sense of humour. So next time you bake a cake, get your kid to lend a hand, rather than pack him or her off to play. Capricorns are constantly learning and need to experience life at first hand.
With all this miniature maturity, you’d think your child would be sensational at school, but that’s not always the case. This is an Earth sign, after all, so your kid will be phlegmatic, and not as alert and active as an Air or Fire child. But unless you dropped your Capricorn kid on the head when a baby, this kid won’t be stupid. Sometimes, school reports will leave a lot to be desired, because your child will be bored, having already read all the textbooks! These kids love reading schoolbooks while their buddies are buried in comics.
If you understand your Capricorn kid, are kind and bestow a lot of love, you’ll bring out the pure gold that lurks within this sign and bring up a real kid to be proud of. Your Capricorn kid will be happy scouring statistics, and encyclopaedias. Now, who wouldn’t want a babe like that? Saves you constantly washing out football shorts or party frocks!
