Aries at home
Arians have no time for tedious things like that. They are too busy having fun. The Aries abode is a base, but it may not be the centre of the Ram’s universe, as it is for a Cancerian or Taurean. Think of all the Rams you know. How many of them own their own homes? Now think of your Cancerian and Taurean mates, who probably all own their own places. Many Arians are content to rent their dwellings for years and years.
Martians with mortgages have usually been browbeaten into them by their spouses, Have you ever wondered how other people live. Well, a typical Sunday for an Arian is to lie-in till twelve, reading the papers and being passionate with a partner. Then it’s down to the club or out for some grub. Back about three or four, just in time for a quick kip on the couch, and then he or she can stroll out again in the evening for a meal with some mates, or a liaison with the latest in a long line of lovers. You may not even see an Arian for the rest of the weekend, as he or she will be out all the time.
What does an Arian abode look like? Well, because this is a wacky sign, it’ll be a fairly modem joint. The most important thing is that everything in it must tick along nicely, like Big Ben. Rams aren’t keen on fuss either, but will try to make the place smart and functional, with plenty of labour-saving devices dotted about the dwelling. What does an Arian abode look like? So, as long as there’s a telly to watch on the rare nights that the Ram’s at a loose end, he or she will be happy. There are also likely to be 101 phones, because Rams like to ring up their chums, and keep in constant contact. There are bound to be plenty of pictures on the walls, and several will be of the resident Ram! Mirrors often abound, too. because Arians like to know they’re looking their best. If you’ve been paying attention, there are no prizes for guessing which is the most important room to an Arian There’s no doubt about it, the bedroom wins hands down every time and pride of place will be the biggest double bed in the world. Arians who live with someone let their partners decide the decor and be the real influence on the place.
Most Arians don’t spend enough time in their homes to even glance at the gardens. If the spouse doesn’t go for gardening, the Arian will splash out and pay someone to do it for them. Many Rams can’t stand doing the dusting either, and will pay someone else to do it for them, if they can afford it. Astute Arians choose Virgos. Rams don’t like living in little homes, and will move out when they feel cramped, and buy or rent something bigger to roam about in. Being a Cardinal sign, they enjoy status symbols, and a large house can be just the job. They’ll puff up like proud peacocks when people admire their abodes. They may like to live in a wide open house, but they’re not so keen on the wide open spaces of the countryside. Like Gemini, they love the hustle and bustle of the city, and can’t stay away from it for too long. Anyway, who can they show off to in the middle of a field? Cows can’t clap, can they?
