Pisces Child

You know those children who seem to be too good to be true, and smile and simper until you want to smack them? Well, they’re Pisceans. While positive Pisceans can be absolutely angelic, others can be noticeably nauseating. Some of them can be so delicate and dreamy that you want to shake them and give them something to be delicate about!

As with the other Water signs, much will depend on the parents of the Pisces child. Little Pisceans who have been spoiled to death will be done for. The problem is that Pisceans find it hard enough to face reality at the best of times and if they aren’t taught as children to see the world as it really is, they can be ruined for life by the time they reach adulthood. Some of these small fries will dream through their childhoods, reading books and living in a fairy-tale of their own making. In fact, they’ll be just like Alice in Wonderland, the epitome of a fantasia! Piscean child.

If you simply protect your small Piscean too much, and not let him or her develop a good backbone, your kid can grow up to be a quivering jellyfish, rather than a friendly, intelligent dolphin. Over the years I’ve encountered a lot of negative Piscean kids, who have all been spoilt, spineless wonders! The minute the parental peepers are off them, they look for ways of regaining attention, staging screaming fits and having hysterics. Some of these children can be too sugary for words, so that in the end you want to clip them around the ear or throw them to the sharks, so they’ll see what life is really all about!

Piscean children can be extremely clever artistically and will be involved from an early age in music, drama and all things arty and this is the best direction in which to channel a sensitive Piscean child. A lot of the children born under this sign have been child prodigies. An excellent example is Mozart, who was tickling the ivories like a frantic Piscean at the tender age of four.

But academically they may lag behind some of the brighter sparks in the zodiac. They’ll need a good push every now and then, because they can slide into indolence very easily. At school, they adore literature, drama, art and music, but they’ll avoid PE and all things academic, coming up with clever excuses.

So, when your Piscean child says, fixing you with a wide-eyed look, that he or she has been given the day off school, I should ring to check. You might find that your innocent little Piscean hasn’t got a day off at all but is just playing trout.
