Capricorn in love

Love isn’t a many-splendoured thing to Capricorns. It’s not an easy emotion for them to feel. Some of them are more at home with ambition than amour.

Capricorns don’t give themselves a chance when it comes to love. Very often, they erect obstacles between themselves and the objects of their affections, which give them a good excuse not to act upon their feelings. The trouble is that they’re terrified by the thought of rejection, and will do anything to avoid it. As a result Capricorns opt for unrequited love. It’s easier that way. You see, all Capricorns are convinced that folk find them funny, and laugh about them behind their backs. Even if they’re having a happy relationship, they can find it hard to believe that their amour doesn’t really think they’re one big belly laugh. This is often a figment of their imaginations, but they can torture themselves terribly. They underestimate themselves, often to a dramatic degree.

Capricorns who’ve been caught by Cupid can be quite melancholic and masochistic, so their loved ones should try to jolly them up, and make them feel cherished. Give your Capricorn a hundred hugs a day and see what happens.

Because love can be confusing to Capricorns, married Capricorns may more often be seized by a sense of family duty than by fervent desire. This can make them seem slightly chilly, and in fact most Capricorns find it hard to show their feelings. They don’t lavish you with love, although it’ll be there under the surface. Capricorns aren’t adept at announcing amour, because they think they sound a mite trite. If one day you throw a wobbly and say ‘You don’t love me’, your old Goat will gaze at you and say ‘Yes I do. I’ve lived with you for twenty years, haven’t I?’

Being an Earth sign, Capricorns are no slouches when it comes to sex. But sometimes even sex will be seen as a duty.
